Sarah J. Peterson Consultant

Sarah is an independent consultant working with xburo as we drive forward the route to net zero and sustainability for our clients. 

Previously a director of xburo, Sarah collaborates on multiple projects to bring her sustainable engineering expertise to our expert project delivery, our projects and our teams.

The Chair of ACE Scotland and a woman in engineering advocate, Sarah has built a twenty-year career in engineering, delivering low energy, low carbon design and is an accredited low carbon energy assessor.

Previously a mechanical engineer, Sarah’s experience ensures a sound and practical approach to Energy, Sustainability and Net Zero – where she works as a consult to advise our clients and our projects across our portfolio of work.

Sarah is accredited to carry out energy assessments and building physics studies utilising dynamic simulation modelling and is a BREEAM Accredited Professional ensuring a holistic multi-level approach to low energy building design, operation and management.

With the route to sustainability and net zero embedded in xburo’s approach, Sarah’s continued relationship with xburo, our engineers and our projects, ensures close collaboration to establish that from the outset of our work we are delivering low energy solutions through our expert advice.

Personal

In her spare time, Sarah is an avid motorsport fan in particular Formula One and hasn’t missed watching a race live since 1994!  She also enjoys a bit of interior design and creating DIY tasks for her husband to do!
