Mark Stone
Senior Electrical Engineer
Mark is a Senior Electrical Engineer joining the team to bring electrical and electronic expertise to our clients.
He was the electrical design lead for the refurbishment of theatres at the Queen Margaret Hospital, where he ensured that all surgeries, medical examination rooms and aesthetic rooms are fully SHTM compliant (Scottish Health Technical Memorandum). Recently, he was the electrical design lead for the refurbishment of a residential building for children with additional support needs.
Technically, Mark brings with him knowledge of working to meet the requirements of a carbon neutral building having led the electrical designs for a number of these. Notable projects include being the electrical design lead on Broadway Park building 2 and Hutchesons Academy, as well as a number of NHS hospital upgrades and railway stations. Previously, he was also the electrical designer for the refurbishment of Wimbledon Substation and has worked overseas where he was the electrical designer for an onshore oil field in Kazakhstan.
Personal
Mark plays golf but needs to practise. Away from office life, he would like to get more time to practise but he has a family, so maybe next year!
