Jack Hannigan Mechanical Design Engineer

Jack is a Mechanical Design Engineer who graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU) with a distinction in Computer Aided Mechanical engineering.

He joined xburo from EDP Consulting Engineers to advance his career. He has worked on a number of health care projects, boosting his understanding of SHTM & HTM requirements. Jack continues to build his understanding in all aspects of building services design including HVAC and Public Health engineering from concept design through to detailed design, construction and handover. He skills include Revit, AutoCAD, and IES, which will help as he advances towards his CEng accreditation. He enjoys learning from our team of experts and working collaboratively across our teams of engineers and energy experts to enhance his experience, understanding and expertise for our clients. 

He is currently working on a variety of projects including office renovations, church renovations, designing heating and ventilation systems. Coordinating both mechanical and electrical services on multiple jobs reducing onsite clashes and answering technical queries to reduces onsite delays. He attends site visits and produces Revit & CAD drawings for senior engineers, when required.

Personal

Jack is training as an assistant water polo coach with the Stirling Water Polo Club. He goes to the gym on a regular basis and is an avid video gamer. He has lived in various countries including Scotland, Norway, Canada, Texas USA, and England, where he attended school in Canada, Texas & England before returning to Scotland to complete his HND & Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
