Colin McLatchie has joined xburo to drive forward a number of projects as an industry expert.

Senior engineer Colin McLatchie has joined xburo to further bolster the team as xburo scales up.
On the back of being named Best Small UK Consultancy at the Association for Consultancy and Engineering (ACE), we are delighted to have attracted Colin McLatchie, an experienced Mechanical and Electrical engineer, to our team.
The Senior Engineer will be instrumental in xburo’s strategy to scale up in its delivery of expert services.
Colin is a senior engineer with a career spanning more than 40 years in building surveying as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer.
His experience ensures that our projects and the services we deliver are led by senior engineers, part of our commitment to clients and our strategy to delivery expertise, excellence and experience.
Colin is working closely with our team of mechanical, electrical and energy & sustainability experts. In addition to Colin’s design experience, he is an asset to the team as he fully understands the complexities of engineering services design, surveying and reporting, and the commercial impact of engineering services within the built environment.
Experienced in 3D scanning and BIM modelling, Colin will drive forward a number of our projects as his experience includes work on a number of NHS hospitals, commercial builds, defence projects and schools and universities.
