The Brief

xburo was appointed to deliver the NEC 3 Supervisor role for a new build sports facility and adult resource centre in Milgnavie, East Dunbartonshire. The new design included the demolition of the existing sports facility buildings and construction of two new builds, which would house a sports dome to facilitate football and tennis centres. The stunning transformation would see a new swimming pools, sauna, steam rooms as well as restaurant/café spaces and multi-purpose zones.

Leading on the project was Doig+Smith, which managed the build on behalf of EDC to ensure that the project was delivered. xburo was appointed to support Doig & Smith in the delivery of its NEC 3 supervisory services, working once again with the cost management, project management and quantity surveying practice.
