Andy Lyons Design Director

Andy is the design director with more than 20 years’ experience in engineering. Previously an associate director with environmental consultancy Atelier Ten, he has held a number of senior positions in Ramboll (Whitbybird) and East Renfrewshire Council.

He joins the leadership team which includes founders and directors Thomas Brady and Michael Gribben and Regional Director, Ian Menzies. 

Andy has a sustained record of achievement in MEP engineering design and project management, operating in the UK and international markets.

His extensive experience in leadership, project management on high value construction projects in excess of £100m, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders ensures our clients will be provided the expertise which is synonymous with the name xburo.

Andy leads through example and is known for his hands-on approach to clients and within the team. He works closely with our interns, graduates, and those in their early careers to ensure that they are fully supported and can excel in their chosen areas and in their own professional development.

Personal
Andy is kept busy with family and enjoys spending time on holidays exploring new destinations. He also likes to stay active and enjoys going to the gym whilst also playing football and golf to try and keep fit!
